Man Airlifted After Motorcycle Crash on San Miguel Drive [Victorville, CA]
SUV and Motorcycle Crash on San Miguel Drive at Jeraldo Drive in Victorville
VICTORVILLE, CA (July 20, 2020) – Paramedics airlifted a man to the hospital after a motorcycle crash on San Miguel Drive on Monday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Jeraldo Drive at approximately 1:08 PM.
Based on a report, a white Jeep Grand Cherokee was attempting to make a U-turn at the intersection at time of the crash. At the same time, the victim’s red and white street bike came along and collided into the front driver’s side of the SUV.
The rider sustained major injuries to his leg. Crews airlifted him to an out of area trauma center. The female driver of the SUV did not sustain any injury in the incident.
The Victorville Police Department is investigating the crash. As of this time, officers don’t have additional information.
