Bicyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run on Golf Course Road [Albuquerque, NM]
Hit-and-Run Driver Causes Fatal Crash in Albuquerque
ALBUQUERQUE, NM (July 19, 2020) – Police confirmed that a bicyclist got killed in a hit-and-run on Golf Course Road on Sunday evening.
According to the Albuquerque Police Department, the collision happened near Marna Lynn NW around 9:40 PM.
Based on a report, an unidentified vehicle hit the bicyclist. However, officials did not state the details that led to the accident. In addition, the vehicle’s driver fled the scene before first responders arrived at the scene.
Emergency crews sent the bicyclist to a hospital, where the victim died due to severe injuries. They did not release the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
Officials did not provide a description of the hit-and-run vehicle. As of this time, they continue to to investigate the case.
