80-Year-Old Clark Dauner Dies in Car Crash on Highway 74 [Mountain Center, CA]
Man Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash in Mountain Center
MOUNTAIN CENTER, CA (July 13, 2020) – Police identified 80-year-old Clark Dauner as the victim who died in a car crash on Highway 74 on Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Bighorn Drive around 10:00 AM.
Based on a report, the car that the elderly man was driving plunged more than 75 feet off a mountainside. The Riverside County Fire Department did not release the cause of the crash.
As a result, an attending coroner from the Riverside County Coroner’s Office proclaimed Clark Duane Dauner dead at the scene.
At this time, police don’t have additional information. However, they continue to investigate the case.
