Two Vehicles Involved in Crash on Highway 1 near Highway 135 in Orcutt
ORCUTT, CA (July 14, 2020) – At least two people suffered injuries in a two-car crash on Highway 1 southbound on Tuesday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Highway 135 just before 9:45 PM.
Based on a report, officials found two vehicles at the scene. Consequently, one car reportedly caught fire in the incident.
As a result, paramedics sent two people to the hospital for treatment. One victim had moderate injuries and another suffered minor injuries.
Crews closed a portion of the highway while rescue and clearing operations took place in the area.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the crash. However, they don’t have additional details at this time.
