Salvador Gonzalez Arrested After Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 82 [Grandview, WA]
15-Year-Old Boy Hospitalized, Salvador Gonzalez Detained After Grandview Car Accident
GRANDVIEW, WA (July 9, 2020) – Police arrested Salvador Gonzalez after a hit-and-run crash on Highway 82 on late Thursday night.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 11:30 PM.
Based on a report, 19-year-old Manuel Delgadillo Monreal of Toppenish was driving westbound along the highway when he struck another vehicle. In addition, the driver of the second vehicle, Salvador Munoz Gonzalez, 43, of Washtucna, left the scene after the incident.
As a result, his passenger, a 15-year-old boy from Toppenish suffered injuries. Emergency crews sent the victim to Astria Sunnyside Hospital for treatment.
Police later on apprehended Gonzalez. They charged with a hit-and-run. In addition, they also charged Delgadillo Monreal with following too closely.
