One Hospitalized in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 710 Freeway [Lynwood, CA]
Three Vehicles Involved in Crash on 710 Freeway and Rosecrans Avenue in Lynwood
LYNWOOD, CA (July 12, 2020) – Emergency crews sent one person to the hospital after a multi-vehicle crash on 710 Freeway on early Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Rosecrans Avenue around 12:06 AM.
Based on a report from the Los Angeles County Fire Department, three vehicles collided in the lanes. However, it did not state the details that led to the pile-up accident.
Crews rescued at least one person who was trapped in one of the vehicles. They sent him to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
Fire officials issued a Sig Alert to close two southbound freeway lanes while rescue and clearing operations took place.
The CHP doesn’t have additional information at this time. In addition, officers continue to investigate the case.
