Two Injured in Car Accident on 80 Freeway [Fairfield, CA]
Two Vehicles Involved in Crash on 80 Freeway and Lynch Road in Fairfield
FAIRFIELD, CA (July 12, 2020) – Two people suffered injuries in a car accident on 80 Freeway eastbound on Sunday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened just west of Lynch Road at approximately 7:35 PM.
Based on a report from the Fairfield Fire Department, a Ford vehicle collided with a Chrysler. However, it did not state the details that led to the crash.
Emergency crews sent two occupants of the Chrysler to NorthBay Medical Center for treatment. The driver sustained minor injuries and the right-front passenger had major injuries. The occupants of the Ford did not have any reported injuries
The Fairfield Fire Department provided assistance with the cleanup.
As of today, police don’t have additional details. However, they continue to work with an investigation.
