Woman Injured in San Diego Pedestrian Accident on Imperial Avenue and 68th Street
SAN DIEGO, CA (July 9, 2020) — A 53-year-old woman sustained injuries following Tuesday’s pedestrian accident at Imperial Avenue and 68th Street.
According to the San Diego Police, the pedestrian accident happened around 10:15 a.m. and drew paramedics to the scene.
Upon arriving, firefighters freed the female victim from underneath the light rail tram. From there, paramedics transported her to Scripps Mercy Hospital in Hillcrest.
Fortunately, investigators say the woman will survive her injuries. No other information regarding this incident was available.
