Bicyclist Dies in Desert Hot Springs Hit-and-Run at Two Bunch Palms Trail
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (July 9, 2020) — A bicyclist died following Wednesday’s hit-and-run at Two Bunch Palms Trail and Cholla Drive.
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the incident happened around 5:40 a.m. Authorities responded to the scene to find a 43-year-old man who had been struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver.
Based on evidence at the scene, police believe the involved vehicle was traveling westbound on Two Bunch Palms Trail in a maroon 2006-2009 Lexus IS250 prior to the impact.
If anyone has information surrounding the whereabouts of the driver, please contact the Desert Hot Springs Police Department.
There’s no information surrounding the identity of the fatal victim.
