Lanes Closed After Multi-Car Crash on Highway 50 near 5 Freeway in Sacramento

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (July 7, 2020) – Responders found at least five vehicles that got involved in a crash on Highway 50 westbound on Tuesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened just east of 5 Freeway.
 
Based on a report, one vehicle overturned in the lanes. However, it did not state the details that led to the accident.
 
The paramedics did not release a report about any injury sustained by the involved motorists.
 
Emergency crews closed at least three lanes of the highway to give way to a clearing operation.
 
The CHP doesn’t have additional information at this time. In addition, officers continue to investigate the case.
