One Dies in Car Crash on Sepulveda Boulevard [Los Angeles, CA]
Two Vehicles Involved in Fatal Crash in Westchester
LOS ANGELES, CA (July 7, 2020) – Police confirmed that one person died in a fiery car crash in the 6800 block of South Sepulveda Boulevard on Tuesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Howard Hughes Parkway at approximately 5:20 AM.
Based on a report, first responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department found two vehicles at the scene. One caught fire in the incident. In addition, the second car rolled on impact.
Crews pronounced a man in the overturned vehicle dead at the scene. They did not release his identity pending kin notification. A man in the vehicle that caught fire managed to go out. In addition, crews took him to a local hospital in critical condition.
Police don’t have additional information as of this time. However, they continue to investigate the incident.
