One Injured, One Arrested After DUI Crash on Highway 101 near Leggett
LEGGETT, CA (July 6, 2020) – Police arrested Ian Worley after a DUI crash on Highway 101 on early Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened just north of Cummings Road around 12:38 AM.
Based on a report, the 25-year-old Clearlake man was driving a 1982 Toyota pickup truck southbound on the highway when he lost control of the vehicle. In addition, it traveled into oncoming traffic and collided with a 2019 Hyundai Accent.
As a result, the man driving the Hyundai suffered minor injuries. Crews took the victim to Howard Memorial Hospital in Willits.
Police arrested Ian Worley on suspicion of driving under the influence and transported to Mendocino County Jail. However, the CHP continues investigating the crash.
