Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted After Willows Pedestrian Accident Hurts Benjamin Maisonet
WILLOWS, CA (July 5, 2020) – CHP officers found Benjamin Maisonet with critical injuries after a hit-and-run on West Highway 99 on early Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at County Road 48 just before 3:00 AM.
Based on a report, CHP officers found Benjamin James Maisonet, 24, in the middle of the northbound lane of the highway. They said that a car hit the Chico man from behind and left the scene.
Maisonet is currently in critical condition.
The CHP Willows Office does not have a description of the involved vehicle. However, officials are asking anyone with information to call their office.
