Pedestrian Hospitalized in Hit-and-Run Crash on Roberts Lane Near Plymouth Avenue [Bakersfield, CA]
Woman Hit, Injured by Hit-and-Run Driver in Bakersfield
BAKERSFIELD, CA (July 7, 2020) — A female pedestrian suffered major injuries following Sunday’s hit-and-run crash on Roberts Lane near Plymouth Avenue.
The incident unfolded around 2:00 a.m. when a westbound vehicle, traveling on Roberts Lane, struck the woman. Authorities determined that the unidentified victim walked southbound, just west of Plymouth Avenue, prior to the impact.
The driver of the unknown make and model of the car fled the scene shortly thereafter.
According to the California Highway Patrol, witnesses informed them that the vehicle might be a white sedan.
As authorities search for the hit-and-run driver, the woman remains in recovery at a hospital.
