Joshua Burbank Charged in Multi-Car DUI Accident on Highway 89 [Coconino County, AZ]
Joshua Burbank Arrested for DUI Following Highway 89 Accident Near Gray Mountain
COCONINO COUNTY, AZ (July 3, 2020) — Two people were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle DUI accident involving a DUI driver on Highway 89 near Gray Mountain.
According to reports, the crash took place around noon a few miles south of Gray Mountain.
Investigators determined that a northbound Dodge Journey veered over the double yellow line and collided with two southbound vehicles.
Per reports, the southbound vehicles were described as a Penske moving truck and a pickup truck.
As a result of the crash, two people in the southbound vehicles suffered serious injuries, urging paramedics to shuttle them to Flagstaff Medical Center.
Meanwhile, officers arrested 25-year old Joshua James Burbank, of Chinle, with charges including aggravated assault and driving under the influence.
Driving under the influence is never a wise idea. If you’re impaired, avoid getting behind the wheel. Instead, look to other ways of getting home: call a friend; contact a taxi service; just avoid drinking and driving.
