Teen Hit, Injured by Car in Fresno Pedestrian Accident on 1st Street
FRESNO, CA (July 2, 2020) — A vehicle struck and injured a 13-year-old boy Wednesday morning at North 1st Street and East Tulare Avenue.
According to officers, police arrived at the scene around 3:30 a.m. to find the teen boy not breathing.
Paramedics arrived shortly thereafter and transported him to a nearby hospital for further evaluation; however, neither the teen’s condition nor information surrounding how the crash unfolded was available.
According to the victim’s brother, the unidentified 13-year-old was on a FaceTime call with his girlfriend at the time of the accident.
Now, officers are reviewing surveillance footage that was captured from nearby businesses to confirm what had transpired.
