Car Crashes into Fire Station near Rialto Avenue in Rialto
RIALTO, CA (June 26, 2020) – A veteran suffered injuries in a car crash that occurred in Rialto Fire Station near Willow Avenue on Friday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Rialto Avenue.
Reports showed that a car struck the department’s Station 201. As a result, the car slammed into the station’s living area.
A veteran Rialto firefighter who was sitting about 3 feet from where the car went into the building suffered minor injuries. Crews sent the victim to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton for treatment.
In addition, the crash also led to smashed furniture and broken glass.
The CHP is still conducting an investigation into the case. However, officials don’t have additional information as of this time.
