Pedestrian Killed in Car Accident on Warner Avenue Near Brookhurst Street [Fountain Valley, CA]
Man Dies in Fountain Valley Pedestrian Accident
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA (June 29, 2020) — A car struck and killed a pedestrian on Tuesday in a car accident on Warner Avenue near Brookhurst Street.
According to officials, the unidentified victim died following Tuesday’s crash that might have involved at least two cars – a blue Acura RDX and a gray BMW X3.
Around 11:04 p.m., the cars collided under unclear circumstances, and the pedestrian was hit at some point during the crash. When officers arrived, they found him unresponsive in the westbound lanes.
Paramedics shuttled him to a nearby hospital where he died. However, Orange County Coroner’s officials have not yet confirmed his identity.
The drivers of the Acura and BMW stayed at the scene and cooperated with police questioning; however, police believe that other vehicles might have been involved.
