Fatal Boulevard Car Accident on 8 Freeway

 
BOULEVARD, CA (June 29, 2020) — One person died in Friday’s solo-car accident on 8 Freeway near McCain Valley Road.
 
Authorities are seeking the ultimate cause that drove one car to crash on the westbound side of the 8 Freeway around 7:40 p.m.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the black vehicle involved in the accident ended up on its side, partially blocking one of the two westbound lanes.
 
Authorities had no choice but to shut down both westbound lanes for half an hour.
 
Information surrounding the factors that drove the accident have not been released. Although, if anyone would like to assist the authorities piece together the events that took place, please call the CHP.
