Man Hospitalized After Crash on 25 Freeway [Las Cruces, NM]
Two Vehicles Involved in Las Cruces Accident
LAS CRUCES, NM (June 24, 2020) – Emergency crews sent a man to the hospital after a crash on 25 Freeway on Wednesday night.
According to the New Mexico State Police, the collision happened near milepost 21 on Radium Springs around 8:53 PM.
The 50-year-old Las Cruces resident was driving a 2016 Toyota pickup pulling a flatbed trailer when it crashed with a 1997 Kenworth big rig.
Paramedics sent the man to a local hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. In addition, the 67-year-old woman from Mexico who was driving the big rig was uninjured in the crash.
The New Mexico Department of Transportation closed the northbound lanes of the freeway for the removal of both vehicles that were blocking the road.
