CHANDLER, AZ (June 22, 2020) – A cement truck driver suffered serious injuries in a DUI accident on 10 Freeway on Monday morning.
According to Chandler Police, the collision happened near Riggs Road. Police described the involved as a cement truck and an SUV. In addition, the truck overturned and landed on its side.
As a result, paramedics listed the driver of the cement truck in serious condition.
Crews closed the eastbound lane of the freeway to clean up the cement.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety said the driver of the SUV is being investigated for DUI. However, they don’t have additional details as of this time.
