Man Critical after Hit-and-Run on Grand Avenue [Glendale, AZ]
Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted After Pedestrian Accident near Bethany Home Road in Glendale
GLENDALE, AZ (June 24, 2020) – A 25-year-old man became critical after a hit-and-run on Grand Avenue on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Glendale Police, the collision happened near Bethany Home Road just after 2:00 PM.
Police said that a Penske truck, possibly a 15-18’ rental, struck the victim and left the scene. However, they did not release further details regarding the suspect vehicle.
Emergency crews attended to the victim who was listed in a critical condition.
Police closed Grand Avenue in both directions at Bethany Home Road to give way to rescue and clearing operations.
They continue to investigate the case. However, they ask anyone with information to contact the Glendale Police Department at 623-930-3000.
