SPRING VALLEY, CA (June 26, 2020) — A hit-and-run driver struck and injured a man in a pedestrian accident on Troy street near Central Avenue on Wednesday evening.
According to California Highway Patrol Officer Travis Garrow, the crash befell around 5:50 p.m. at Goodland Acres Park.
An unidentified driver, heading westbound on Troy Street, drifted to the right for unclear reasons and struck the 45-year-old man standing in the park’s driveway.
As a result, he suffered major injuries, urging paramedics to shuttle him to Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego.
