Rider Dies in Motorcycle Accident on Boulder Highway [Henderson, NV]
Motorcycle Crashes into Pickup Truck in Fatal Henderson Accident
HENDERSON, NV (June 21, 2020) – Police confirmed that a rider died in a motorcycle accident on Boulder Highway on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Lowery Street.
A report showed that the 27-year-old victim was driving a sport bike northbound on Boulder when a pickup truck made a left turn at the intersection. Due to an unknown reason, the bike did not stop and crashed directly into the truck.
As a result, emergency crews pronounced the rider dead at the scene. They did not release the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
The driver of the truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Police said impairment is not suspected in the incident. However, they continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
