One Killed, One Injured in Pedestrian Accident in Home Depot Parking Lot in Costa Mesa
COSTA MESA, CA (June 23, 2020) – Police confirmed that a car struck and killed a man in a parking lot accident at Home Depot on Harbor Boulevard on Tuesday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened just before noon.
A report from Costa Mesa Police said that a vehicle hit two pedestrians in the parking lot near the lumber area. However, it did not state the details that led to the collision.
Emergency crews sent the two men to a nearby hospital for treatment. One of the victims died due to severe injuries. Police did not release his identity pending notification of his family.
Police are still investigating the case. However, officials have no further details to release this time.
