Boy Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Tieton Reservoir Road [Naches, WA]
Vehicle and Pedestrian Involved in Fatal Crash near Rimrock Lake
NACHES, WA (June 12, 2020) – Police confirmed that a boy died in a pedestrian accident in the 1800 block of Tieton Reservoir Road on Friday afternoon.
According to the Washington State Police, the collision happened near Rimrock Lake at approximately 2:00 PM.
A report from the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office stated that a woman called 911 to report about an unidentified vehicle that struck the boy. However, the details that led to the crash were not available.
As a result, deputies and fire crews found the boy and declared him dead at the scene. They did not release his identity pending notification of next of kin.
Police did not release additional information regarding the incident. However, they continue to investigate the case.
