Person Dies in Hit-and-Run Bicycle Crash in Jurupa Valley
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (June 18, 2020)—A bicyclist died Thursday night following a hit-and-run accident on Mission Boulevard near Hunter Street.
Authorities need witnesses’ help in identifying the driver involved in the 10:43 p.m. accident that took the life of a man.
The incident unfolded in the 9400 block of Mission Boulevard, where authorities found a man on the north side of the street with severe injuries. Paramedics transported him to a hospital; however, despite life-saving attempts, the man died days later.
Authorities believe a white 2012 to 2018 Ford Focus sedan struck the unidentified victim as it was heading westbound on Mission Boulevard.
