Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted After Pedestrian Accident near B Street
FILLMORE, CA (June 15, 2020) – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run on Santa Clara Street on late Monday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near B Street at approximately 11:59 PM.
A report from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department said that a light-colored, four-door Chevrolet or GMC pickup truck struck the victim. In addition, the driver fled the scene after the incident.
As a result, emergency crews found the pedestrian lying in the roadway with serious injuries.
Police said video surveillance from the scene captured the collision. However, they are asking anyone with information about the hit-and-run to call the Fillmore Police Department.
