Sports Car Crashes into Tree Outside Mayor Garcetti’s Residence in Hancock Park
LOS ANGELES, CA (June 12, 2020) – Police confirmed that one person got killed in a crash near the LA Mayor’s residence on West Sixth Street on Friday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Irving Boulevard at approximately 8:30 PM.
A report showed that the victim was a passenger of a McLaren sports car. The car crashed into a tree outside Mayor Eric Garcetti’s official residence.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics extricated the car’s driver and passenger who got trapped in the car. They transported the victims in critical condition. The passenger later died due to severe injuries.
Police did not release any other details. However, an investigation is ongoing.
