Wrong-Way Driving Leads to Crash near Vasquez Canyon Road

 
SANTA CLARITA, CA (June 13, 2020) – Crews sent one person to the hospital after a wrong-way accident on Bouquet Canyon Road on Saturday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Vasquez Canyon Road at approximately 1:18 PM.
 
A report from the Los Angeles County Fire Department showed there were two vehicles involved. An initial assessment showed that a car was seen in the wrong lane prior to the crash. As a result, it caused an oncoming car to swerve out of the way and hit a canyon wall. In addition, the wrong-way car hit the opposite side of the canyon, bouncing off and rolling.
 
As a result, crews found one victim trapped in a vehicle. They transported the victim to a trauma center in unknown condition.
