Raul Gutierrez Killed in Two-Car Accident on Roscoe Boulevard at Vanalden Avenue

 
NORTHRIDGE, CA (June 15, 2020) — A 59-year-old man died Saturday morning following a hit-and-run two-vehicle accident on Roscoe Boulevard at Vanalden Avenue.
 
The Los Angeles County coroner confirmed the identity of the fatal victim as Raul Gutierrez, of Northridge.
 
Investigators believe that a vehicle heading westbound on Roscoe Boulevard struck Gutierrez’s car around 8:50 a.m. under unclear circumstances. The involved driver fled the scene on foot; however, police have no description of the driver or the driver’s vehicle.
 
The devastating hit-and-run accident left Gutierrez deceased at the scene.
