SKYLAND, NV (June 12, 2020)—Paramedics airlifted two seriously injured patients to a hospital following Monday’s head-on accident on Highway 50 near Zephyr Cove.
According to fire officials, the crash happened along Highway 50 and resulted in injuries. Due to the crash, the Nevada Highway Patrol closed off the area for investigation and cleanup.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, but officials believe DUI likely played a role.
