Five Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash near Sheep Creek Road
PHELAN, CA (June 10, 2020) – Emergency crews airlifted one person to the hospital after a head-on crash on Highway 138 on Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Sheep Creek Road at approximately 8:14 AM.
A report from the San Bernardino County Fire responded described the involved as a GMC with moderate front-end damage and a minivan with major front-end damage.
As a result, emergency personnel reported one person with major injuries. They airlifted the critical patient to an out of area trauma center. In addition, four other motorists suffered injuries.
Police did not release the events that led to the head-on crash. However, they continue to investigate the case.
