Man Killed in Crash With SUV in Reno Motorcycle Accident at Montello Street
RENO, NV (June 2, 2020) — A 49-year-old man perished in a motorcycle accident involving an SUV Friday evening at Montello Street and Haddock Drive.
According to news reports, multiple agencies responded to the scene after hearing word of a two-vehicle accident. Upon arriving, Reno police officers determined that a southbound motorcyclist collided with an eastbound SUV at the intersection.
The 49-year-old man was ejected from the bike and suffered severe injuries. Paramedics wasted no time in transporting him to Renown Medical Center where he died shortly thereafter.
As of now, his identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
The cause and events that led to the accident have yet to be determined; however, detectives believe speed might have contributed to the accident, although on whose part remains unclear.
