DUI Driver Involved in Bakersfield DUI Crash on Casa Loma Street
BAKERSFIELD, CA (May 23, 2020) – A man and a horse suffered injuries in a DUI crash on Casa Loma Street on Saturday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened in the 3000 block of East Casa Loma Street near Cottonwood Road at about 7:15 PM.
For an unknown reason, a gray Toyota struck a horse traveling westbound on Casa Loma.
As a result, the horse sustained severe injuries. The man who was riding the horse suffered minor injuries in the incident.
Police said alcohol was a factor in the crash. However, the investigation into the DUI crash was ongoing.
