Robert Ibrahim Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Riverside

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (May 26, 2020) — A 41-year-old man died in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash Saturday night on Rubidoux Boulevard near El Rivino Road.
 
According to Riverside Sheriff’s Sgt. Luke Torres, deputies with the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station arrived at the scene around 8:30 p.m. after receiving word of a car accident.
 
Officials responded to find a man down in the west dirt shoulder of Rubidoux Boulevard. According to Torres, Robert Ibrahim died from multiple traumatic injuries at 8:42 p.m.
 
Based on the investigation and a witness’s account, a driver struck the pedestrian in the southbound No. 2 lane before fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed. The witness described the vehicle as a dark-colored sedan with damage to the front passenger side and side-view mirror.
