Steven Meunier Dies After Bike Collides With Motorcycle on Auberry Road Near Millerton Road
CLOVIS, CA (May 26, 2020)—A 72-year-old bicyclist died following Sunday’s crash involving a motorcyclist on Auberry Road near Millerton Road.
According to the Fresno County Coroner’s Office, Steven Meunier died in the Sunday afternoon accident near Millerton Road. Authorities say Meunier traveled southbound on Auberry Road, approaching Millerton Road, when he allegedly moved into the roadway for unknown reasons. The oncoming motorcyclist struck the 72-year-old man as a result.
Paramedics tried resuscitating the gravely injured victim, but he died moments later.
The 39-year-old motorcyclist sustained injuries to his arm. After an investigation, police determined impairment is not a factor in the accident.
Police will release more information on this crash after an investigation.
