George Rowlands Dies in Camarillo Motorcycle Collision
CAMARILLO, CA (May 26, 2020) — A 60-year-old man died in a motorcycle accident on Petit Street near Dawson Drive Wednesday afternoon.
The tragedy struck around 12:24 p.m. as 60-year-old George Rowlands collided with a vehicle on Petit Street. According to traffic investigators, the impact threw the Simi Valley man from his motorcycle and onto the street. However, police did not release any other information regarding how the accident happened.
As a result, Rowlands died from multiple blunt force injuries.
The 73-year-old Porter Ranch man operating the two-door coupe stayed at the scene for questioning. However, an investigation continues as local authorities seek more information from witnesses.
