One Dead, Two Injured in Car Accident on Kansas Avenue [Kings County, CA]

Two Vehicles Involved in Fatal Crash near 15th Avenue

 
KINGS COUNTY, CA (May 19, 2020) – Police confirmed that one person died and two others suffered injuries in a car Accident on Kansas Avenue Tuesday morning.
 
According to CHP, the accident happened between 15th Avenue and 16th Avenue at approximately 5:30 AM.
 
A report showed that a driver of an SUV fell asleep while traveling on the westbound lane of Kansas. As a result, the SUV crashed into an oncoming pickup truck.
 
Emergency crews proclaimed a passenger inside the SUV dead at the scene. The drivers of both vehicles suffered major injuries and were taken to a local hospital.
 
Officers did not release additional details. However, they continue their investigation to determine other factors related to the incident.
