MECCA, CA (May 18, 2020) — One person died Friday afternoon following a pedestrian accident on Highway 86 near 66th Avenue.
 
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the fatal incident took place around 2:10 p.m. In addition, a caller informed authorities about the accident that took place along the highway.
 
Crews arrived shortly after to investigate the crash; however, no information was available concerning the victim’s identity or the type of car that struck the person.
