ISLA VISTA, CA (May 15, 2020) – A bicyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash in the 800 block of Camino Del Sur on Friday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened near Picasso Road at approximately 9:00 PM.
 
A report from CHP officers and the Santa Barbara City Fire showed a vehicle traveling at about 20 miles per hour when a man rode out of a driveway on a bike. As a result, the car struck the bicycle.
 
Paramedics reported that the bicyclist’s leg was broken from the crash. The driver of the car did not suffer injuries and remained on the scene.
 
No other details are available. However, the CHP continues to investigate the case.
