Man Dies in Pedestrian Accident on Crenshaw Boulevard [Hawthorne, CA]
Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Car in Hawthorne
HAWTHORNE, CA (May 15, 2020) — A man died Thursday following a pedestrian accident on Crenshaw Boulevard near West El Segundo Boulevard.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the 5:26 a.m. crash happened in the 12600 block of Crenshaw Boulevard.
The crash drew paramedics to the scene where they found the victim, believed to be a homeless man in his 50s. The unidentified victim died in the accident and the motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with police investigations.
An investigation proved that neither speed nor alcohol played a factor in the accident.
