Grant Prevatt On The Run after Rollover Crash on Mitchell Road [Paulden, AZ]
Grant Prevatt Flees Paulden Rollover Accident
PAULDEN, AZ (May 14, 2020) — A 16-year-old girl sustained major injuries following a rollover hit-and-run crash on North Mitchell Road near Saddle Road.
According to reports, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Grant Prevatt of Chino Valley, who might have caused the rollover accident before leaving the scene.
The incident happened around 2:00 a.m. in the 24800 block of North Mitchell Road.
A YCSO news release indicated that Prevatt had erratically driven the truck before the vehicle slid sideways and overturned. The teen girl who sustained serious injuries was not wearing a seatbelt, the news release confirmed.
It appears another male and a 15-year-old girl were also in the truck at the time of the accident.
According to deputies, Prevatt kicked the windshield of the truck and left the scene, informing his passengers that he was a felon and needed to leave.
Shortly after, a Good Samaritan who witnessed the accident stopped and helped the passengers. Not long after, deputies arrived and found Prevatt’s friend who confirmed that Prevatt was the driver involved. Paramedics brought him to a hospital for minor injuries.
If anyone has information on Prevatt’s whereabouts, please call Yavapai Silent Witness at 1800-932-3232. Officials are offering a $350 cash reward for any tips that will lead to his arrest.
