SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (May 12, 2020) — A woman died following a head-on accident on Central Avenue at 83rd Street Sunday night.
 
According to news reports, the deadly event befell around 11:20 p.m. Police believe that a car was traveling south when it collided with a northbound vehicle.
 
A woman in her 30s, who authorities say had been in the southbound vehicle, succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
 
Police arrested no one following the accident. However, they do plan to investigate the details and circumstances further to learn where the fault lies and what factors drove the accident.
