SACRAMENTO, CA (May 7, 2020) – A DUI driver suffered injuries in a car accident on Highway 50 on Thursday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened near 65th Avenue around 8:15 PM.
 
Reports showed an Infiniti colliding with a big rig. Officers suspected the Infiniti driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
 
As a result, the Infiniti driver sustained minor injuries. The truck driver did not suffer injuries in the crash.
Several lanes were blocked due to the crash.
 
Police arrested the suspected DUI driver. However, no other details were released.
