Motorcyclist Injured in Crash With Car at East Haley Street and Olive Street [Santa Barbara, CA]
Rider Suffers Injury Following Santa Barbara Accident
SANTA BARBARA, CA (May 11, 2020)—A motorcyclist suffered a leg injury Saturday afternoon following an accident at East Haley Street and Olive Street.
According to the fire department, the sole rider of the motorcycle was traveling eastbound on East Haley Street when the person crashed into a small sedan whose driver tried crossing from Olive Street to Haley Street.
The vehicle ended up crushing the left side of the motorcycle, causing severe injury to the motorcyclist’s leg during the impact.
Shortly after, emergency personnel arrived at the scene and tended to the rider’s seriously injured leg before taking the victim to Cottage Hospital.
Meanwhile, the two people inside the sedan were unharmed.
