27-Year-Old Woman Killed in DUI Crash on Warner Street [Sedro-Woolley, WA]
One Killed and Two Injured in Crash near Township Street
SEDRO-WOOLLEY, WA (May 7, 2020) – Troopers confirmed that a 27-year-old woman died in a DUI crash on Warner Street on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the crash happened near Township Street around 2:30 PM.
Reports showed an Acura speeding and running multiple signs before it crashed into a Mercury at the intersection. As a result, the Acura rolled over before it crashed into an unoccupied parked Kia.
A 27-year-old woman ejected in the crash and died at the scene.
Paramedics transported another passenger, a 66-year-old woman to a Mount Vernon hospital. However, the extent of her injuries was not given. The 26-year-old Acura driver was treated at the scene for his injuries. No injuries were reported for the driver or his passenger in the Mercury.
Investigators considered drugs and/or alcohol as a factor in the crash. However, they did not give any further details on any arrests or impending charges.
