Tyler Mazac Dies in Pedestrian Accident on Highway 12 Near 80 Freeway
FAIRFIELD, CA (May 8, 2020) — A driver struck and killed a Texas man on Highway 12 near the 80 West Freeway Wednesday night.
According to California Highway Patrol officials, the fatal event unfolded around 9:10 p.m. when the 29-year-old Texas man reportedly caused a collision with a Kia vehicle. For unknown reasons, he exited his Chrysler 300 and was hit by an oncoming vehicle, driven by a 38-year-old Suisun man.
Tyler Mazac, of Hockley, Texas, succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Reports featured no details concerning the initial crash or the names of the other drivers.
