Fatal Pedestrian Accident Reported in Salinas

 
SALINAS, CA (May 8, 2020) — One person died in a pedestrian accident at Espinosa Road and Christensen Road on Wednesday morning.
 
According to reports, the state’s Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA) has yet to determine the circumstances and details of what had happened that morning.
 
Around 6:30 a.m., a driver of Dodge Ram 4500 pickup truck placed the car in reverse and did not see the pedestrian. As a result, the truck subsequently struck the unidentified victim, causing fatal injuries.
 
Both the driver and victim are employees of A. Oseguera Company Inc., a harvesting and packing company situated in Salinas Valley.
