Two Vehicles Involved in Crash near Hidden Acres Road

 
SONORA, CA (May 5, 2020) – A pregnant woman suffered injuries in an accident on Highway 108 on late Tuesday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Hidden Acres Road just before 5:30 PM.
 
A police report showed a pickup truck and a Toyota 4 Runner colliding and trapping two people inside both vehicles.
Emergency crews worked to free a pregnant woman and a man. As a result, both victims sustained minor injuries in the incident.
 
The roadway was shut down while rescue and clearing operations took place in the area.
 
No other details are available. However, the CHP was investigating the factors that caused the accident.
